Hi Gail! This was a great course! I particularly enjoyed seeing your own examples of pushing/exaggerating/changing color. You even inspired me to purchase “Harley Brown’s eternal truths for every artist” — a great resource. Thank you for making me aware of it!
I’m delighted to hear how helpful the course is for you! And yay – you won’t regret getting that book by Harley 😁
Thanks for the mini class on Colour. Can’t wait to Ignite with some Colour (color)!!! I’ve
been in a dull rut for forty years! It’s time to BREAKOUT…..Gary
YEEESSSS Gary! Bam – the colour flame is lit. Time to go do some breaking out!!
Thank you Gail for this Mini class. Being very new to pastels I’ve been trying to copy exactly what I see and I’m now ready to get out of that rut. I’ve been uncertain how to break this bad habit and now feel I have some idea how to do it. Can’t wait for IGNITE to open it’s doors again!
So great to hear Carol Ann! Sometimes, even if we have the intention of breaking away from what west in a photo, we can be sucked back in. So if you start boldly, be vigilant about reaching for colours to “match” what you see.
And look forward to seeing you in IGNITE! (We open 16thApril!!)
Many heartfelt thanks for this opportunity as I have been trying to understand colour use more expressively for some time now. Carmel S.
Carmel, you are so welcome!! I look forward to hearing how your work changes from this learning 😁
